How to block websites

Block websites: Hello friends, if you want to block any websites on your own pc/laptop you can follow my process. In this process, I will use my host file to block websites. By this process, you can easily block any websites and within only (tow) 2minites.

Let’s start….

Step 1: click the start menu and search notepad.

 Step 2: right click on notepad and click Run administrator. (remember don’t open directly)

Step 3: click file menu of notepad, and click Open.

Step 4: select address where have your host-file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc)

Step 5: select All Files from the drop-down menu.

Step 6: select host file, and click open.

Step 7: type (127.0.0.1      www.facebook.com)
                    (127.0.0.1      www.twitter.com)
              And save this file.

[You can ask that what is 127.0.0.1 I used.]
127.0.0.1 is the loopback Internet protocol (IP) address also referred to as the “localhost.” The address is used to establish an IP connection to the same machine or computer being used by the end-user. The same convention is defined for computer's that support IPv6 addressing using the connotation of 127.0.0.1

Step 8: now you need to open your browser and try to open that website which you did block.

If you want to unblock the websites which you did block, just clear that website name from host file by do the same process and save.
